Capital Region Ham Radio licensing classes
If you are interested in becoming an FCC licensed amateur radio operator, consider taking a class offered by The Capital Area Radio Enthusiasts (CARE) Group. Several times each year, the CARE group offers a weekend study program that includes:

Full day of classes on Saturday, with live radio demonstrations;

Review of lessons and FCC exam on Sunday. After you pass, you will be an FCC licensed amateur radio operator!

Various reference charts a welcome letter containing class overview study practices,other info facts;

The classes start at 8:00 A.M. at Shaker Road Loudonville Fire Dept
The cost for the program is $50 ($25 for students) and includes all of the above items, plus meals/refreshments and the exam fee.
